  1. I read 2014 a deadly year for grain. I think that if you are going to go in there then you need to be connected to a rope or harness. So if you do fall you don't get sucked in. With this guy he had his son but he can't do a lot unless he wants to go under too. So i feel that if we had ropes and harnesses it would solve a lot of problems.

  2. i read the one about the cows.they pretty much said that the cattle prices are really high. Most of the older ranchers say that they would like to see the cattle price slow down. Everything in the cattle marketing is go up really fast and they would like everything to slow down and not just the price

  4. I read the one about conservation. I think that this is an amazing idea, especially nowadays because of the high need for water. More people should be thinking of ways to save water for everyone like Lyon did. I really think that this will benefit farmers and their crops if they were to do this, too.

  5. Grain Pains On The Plains. There are rail shipping issues in the plains. There are several things causing these issues. More grain has been produced since the early 2000's. Crop production acres have increased slightly. Soybeans also experienced an increase in total production.

  7. I read the article about Vesicular Stomatitis Diagnosed on two Cattle Farms in Nebraska. So far all we know is that the two farms are under quarantine. Scientists are trying to figure out the source for the cause of this virus. So far we are the 3rd state to be diagnosed with VS with colorado and Texas before us.

  8. I read the article about helping and supporting the farmers. I think that it is important to help out the farmers all around because their job could be or is just as important as yours.

  9. Nebraska joins the fight over GMO corn.
I think GMOs are bad. But the thing is that by not using them in our crops it hurt us. So, either way we are killing ourselves. Either by chemicals or by being starved. I don't know exactly what would be better. I have also heard that the chemicals aren't harming us. At this point Im not sure what to believe.
