Goat Cheese On the Rise
ReplyDeleteI think this is completely nasty. Goat milk or cheese is just gross. We should keep having cow milk just because i feel that tastes the best. But I guess if some people want to eat them or drink its all good. I just wont.
Big harvest, state fair ‘wow’
I think this is really cool. Since we had such good crop production it allows ag students to be able to know the difference in crop production. So it enables us to learn how the water fall and weather does to certain plants and crops.
Where's the Bacon
ReplyDeleteI think that this is good to have more bacon but I don't know why we have to make more when we have enough now anyway. Bacon is not good for you.
Irrigation Concerns
I think that it is good that we have irrigation and pivots because then we have good crops instead of not good crops from not enough water to help them survive.
Officials lure educators to exhibit
ReplyDeleteI think that it's great to be more educated about Agriculture. I feel that if younger students are exposed to it it'll be more helpful in their career choices so they know that there are other choices out there. The open house idea was really cool. It allowed schools to see their options. I hope more schools implement Ag into their school system.
Raising Nebraska Exhibit Raises Eyebrows
I think this is really cool! I read that there was a virtual combine ride, a theater inside a grain bin, and lot of other cool stuff. It's great that we are adding more to our agriculture. The exhibit shows exactly what our main industry is, agriculture, which isn't a huge surprise, but at least this shows others that we're proud of it.

ReplyDeleteIrish imports not to impact Neb. beef
ReplyDeleteI am concerned that we stopped shipments of beef from Ireland because of mad cow disease. Do they really have it all under control? I am also not sure how that will help our beef production. Less work for us but if that disease comes back we don't have much beef to go off of.
Where’s the bacon?
ReplyDeleteOk I do love bacon, but we are already trying to be stopped from getting any fatter. Students at school are being deprived of food. Having more bacon isn't good. Pork? Yes, but if that 5% is going all to bacon production. That is too much and only going to fatten us up even more.
Irrigation concerns
ReplyDeleteToday Nebraska is the number one state in the U.S. for total irrigated acres at just under 10 million. Nebraska’s agriculture industry contributed $21 billion to the state economy in 2011, according to the Nebraska Department of Agriculture

ReplyDeleteI think that this is cool because we have good crop production to help the ag students learn. It lets us know what the weather and rain fall have to do to the crops.

ReplyDeleteIrish imports not to impact Neb. Beef- After a long time the U.S are allowing Irish imports back into the U.S. In the 90s we put a ban on Irish imports because of mad cow disease. Also I think that this good because this will increase how much we trade with Ireland and it won't harm Nebraska Beef Production.
