I think that this means that we should work really hard to achieve our goals and if we work hard one day we can't just give up we have to work harder to improve so you are better than you were yesterday.
I agree with this because just because you got valedictorian your graduating year and then decided to never attend college and work at a fast food joint is not very successful by the older ages. ~~~Julia~~~
Just because you used to be great at something doesn't mean that it's going to be easy once you think you might've perfected something. Practice makes progress, not perfect. You'll have to keep working every day even if you think it's perfect.
You can't say to yourself that since I did this yesterday I can do it again because when the next day comes and your not trying, you won't be able to. Then the next day comes and you still can't do it because you have stoped trying. You have to work your hardest everyday. Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice make perfect. Pefect practice is working hard to achieve what you are striving for.
