  1. Man saves bear from drowning
I think this is the craziest thing ever. I would not go into the water and save a 400 lb bear. But then again i'm like a 1/4 of its size. I do think it was really cool that the officer went in to help the tranquilized bear. I wish I was there to see it honestly.

  2. Urban AG academy
That is exactly why I love random classes like AG and careers. I learn more on what I might want to do for a majority of my life. Right now I'm not so sure but I think with these classes and other opportunities I will find my dream job. Last night I got an email from YouTube telling me one of my favorite you-tubers uploaded a video. It's called DREAMER and it reminded me to continue to look and not stop with okay.

  3. Drought Affects Cattle Farming.
I think that this would be really hard to have a drought because then you don't have enough water and nutrients to water your cattle and crops that you have grown. Without rain you have to water yourself and it would just be easier for the rain to come and water for you so you don't have to do it yourself.

  4. China eyes food safety, modern farms.
China has listed food safety and modernizing farms as among key priorities this year. Falling agricultural productivity has raised concerns about its future food supply. China will also protect farmland and lend more to farmers. Permanent farmland that is off-limit to industrial and urban development will be created.

  5. Man saves Drowning Bear.
This guy was brave. I would have freaked out. I just don't get why the bear didn't freak out and attack the guy. It puzzles me as to why he didn't. Even though it's slightly crazy it was kind of cool. I would've done it if it was a monkey, but a bear, nah...Maybe a cub, but still...it's a little risky.

  6. Man saves Bear from Drowning- Wow! This is just wow! I was stunned while reading this. I would've freaked and then ran away screaming. But this man is a true hero saving a dangerous and wild animal. That takes some courage. Courage that others don't have.

  8. Cuba Trade
U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack predicts U.S. trade with Cuba could rebound from its current $300 million to close to $500 million with Florida among the states capitalizing the most. But to move to the next level, Vilsack urged Congress to go beyond the loosened trade restrictions recently ordered by President Barack Obama. Specifically, he called for Congress to allow his department to promote trade in Cuba as well as other international markets where it is hamstrung.

  10. Urban Ag Academy
This is a cool idea because it helps expand the interest in agriculture. It is important to get the more urban and younger people involved because it will help keep the interest in agriculture alive. People always want to be in agriculture careers and for the future.
