  1. Nebraska Ag Hall of Fame, Belden has a population of 115 people and is one of the small towns of Nebraska there for it doesnt get on the news to much. This town is small but is known for big things. Belden is known for the home of one of the latest inductees to Nebraska Hall of Agriculture.Jan Miller, a farmer, was welcomed to the NHAA banquet on March 12.

  2. Belden which is in Cedar County is where Jan Miller received the Nebraska Hall of Fame Agriculture Achievement. He lives in this small town with a population of about 115 people. There hasn't been anything on the news about this town until now.

    I think it is absolutely amazing that the Organic farming community is growing. It is also great the the NASS is going to continue to turn it's head to the community. Also as the page says that keeping track of these different things won't only help the organic farmers but the industry as a whole.

    The Nebraska LEAD Program began 33 years ago to develop leaders and is still working today to find more leaders for FFA. I think this is really cool because it gets students excited to become a leader and want to work for it.

    I think it's awesome that we have a Hall of Fame for Agriculture. Agriculture is a major part in our lives and having someone, even from a really small town, being honored is a great thing. It really draws attention to small towns like us and it shows that we're more than just our population.

    Animal health issues are starting to be a real concern for agricultural producers. This includes hoof disease, mouth disease, and also Texas cattle fever. Producers need to report any potential signs of diseases.
